Yemen Not to Abandon Support for Gaza: Official
Mahdi al-Mashat made the remarks during a meeting of the council held on Sunday to discuss the latest developments and the US aggression against Yemen.
At the meeting, al-Mashat expressed thanks to the masses of the Yemenis under the leadership of Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the heroes of the armed forces and security services.
"In this meeting, we are embarking on a jihad battle, each through his position, so work is the master of the situation for the next stage, and the government, local authorities and judicial bodies must move to serve the citizen, each moving within the framework of his responsibility," he said.
"The aggression against Yemen failed from day one, and we were able to obtain information to thwart the aggression before it took place, which spared us a lot of damage that would have occurred had we not succeeded in obtaining this information," he emphasized.
He pointed out that the more the American enemy mobilizes, it means that its weapons have failed, and on the military level, the more it mobilizes, the more it provides a hunting ground for targeting it.
He pointed out that the Americans used to come with an aircraft carrier and threaten entire countries, but now they announce the arrival of a carrier to replace the aircraft carrier. "The confirmed information we have is that the Truman went out in the first days of the aggression, lost its command and control, now the arrival of a new carrier is only to withdraw from the defeat and failure that occurred from the first days, they told it to stay a month until the moral blow that spread among people that it was targeted, otherwise it became out of service from its first days," he said.
Al-Mashat stated that the aggression against Yemen once or twice was from the Truman, and the rest from other places, which we monitor, and are carried out by the strategic bomber that may have only struck Yemen.
"Since God enabled our Yemeni armed forces to take the Truman out of readiness, to achieve something for the enemy that forced him to bring other pieces and use other weapons, this is a great victory from God Almighty," he added.
He reiterated the steadfastness of the position announced by the Yemeni leader and never retreating from it, whatever the challenges and whatever the consequences. He emphasized that “supporting our mujahideen brothers in Gaza is a principled, moral, Islamic, humanitarian position, we will not retreat from it until the aggression stops and the siege on Gaza is lifted.”

He regretted the unprecedented Arab failure, which reached the level of complicity, by some Arab regimes in light of the tragic situation in Gaza. "We do not care about any difficulties, obstacles or challenges we face as a result of paying the price for our honorable, moral, humanitarian position, and we do not care at all because the terrible criminality, the crimes committed, the inhumane, immoral siege and the Arab negligence force us to have a position, whatever the consequences," he said.
